WBE Gallery Terms, Privacy & Artist Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to WBE Gallery.
WBE Gallery is an online platform created to showcase emerging, independent and undiscovered artists, their work and the stories behind what they create.
By using this website, registering your interest in being featured, or agreeing to have your artwork displayed by WBE Gallery, you agree to the terms below.
1. About WBE Gallery
WBE Gallery is an online creative platform. It is not currently a physical gallery and does not imply that any a Little artwork displayed on this website is exhibited in a physical WBE Gallery location.
WBE Gallery aims to help artists gain visibility by showcasing selected artwork online and, where agreed, through WBE Gallery social-media channels.
Being featured by WBE Gallery does not mean that WBE Gallery represents, manages or acts as an agent for an artist unless a separate written agreement specifically states otherwise.
2. Artist Features
Artists may register their interest in being featured by WBE Gallery.
Registering interest does not guarantee that an artist or artwork will be selected.
WBE Gallery may decide which artists and works are suitable for the platform and may decline a submission without being required to provide a reason.
If an artist is selected, additional information, artwork images and permissions may be requested before anything is published.
3. Ownership and Copyright
Artists retain ownership and copyright in their original artwork.
WBE Gallery does not acquire ownership of an artist’s work simply because it is displayed or promoted on the platform.
By agreeing to be featured, the artist gives WBE Gallery permission to reproduce, display and promote the artwork and artist information. This may include publication on the WBE Gallery website and agreed WBE Gallery social-media channels.
Artists remain free to display, sell, licence or promote their work elsewhere unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
In the UK, copyright protection for original artistic work generally arises automatically.
4. Artist Responsibilities
Artists must only submit artwork that they created themselves or that they have the legal right to submit and authorise WBE Gallery to display.
Artists are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to WBE Gallery is accurate.
If artwork includes material belonging to another person, including photographs, designs or other copyrighted material, the artist is responsible for obtaining any permissions that may be required.
Artists should also tell WBE Gallery if relevant information changes after a feature has been published.
5. How Artwork May Be Presented
WBE Gallery will aim to present artwork respectfully and accurately.
WBE Gallery may resize, crop or format an image where reasonably necessary for website or social-media presentation, but will not intentionally alter the artistic content of an artwork without the artist’s permission.
WBE Gallery may add artist credits.
6. Artist Credit
Where practical, featured artwork will include the artist’s name or chosen artist name.
Links to an artist’s website, social-media profile, online shop or other platform may also be included where supplied and appropriate.
Artists are responsible for ensuring that links they provide remain accurate and active.
7. Sales and External Websites
Unless WBE Gallery specifically states otherwise, WBE Gallery does not currently sell featured artists’ artwork directly.
If a visitor follows a link from WBE Gallery to an artist’s website, shop, social-media account or another external service, any purchase, commission, enquiry or agreement takes place directly between the visitor and the artist or third-party platform.
WBE Gallery is not responsible for the availability, pricing, delivery, condition or fulfilment of artwork purchased through an external website.
8. Removal of Artwork or Artist Features
An artist may ask WBE Gallery to remove their artwork or artist feature. Artists should therefore allow a reasonable period of time for their artwork or feature to be removed from the website and and associated WBE Gallery content
WBE Gallery will make reasonable efforts to remove the material from platforms under its control.
Content previously shared, reposted, cached or stored by third parties may remain outside WBE Gallery’s control.
WBE Gallery may also remove or update artwork, profiles or other content where reasonably necessary.
9. Use of WBE Gallery Content
